MORE FOR THE MEN

Hello All,

Here we are again! Whew! I just don't know how many more of these posts I can get through! LOL! I'll never do this again, but of course they say "never say never"! Also, for those of you who don't know, I've been loading men's cards for a few months now! I ended up with more than 400! Following is the list of expectations I had in mind for all of my men's cards when I started them, so let's get started.

A quick reminder of my goals for these cards:

  • Easily mailed / no extra postage - Postal Service gets enough as it is in my opinion!
  • Wide range of styles that reach out to the young men in our lives, the old or older, the tots, the ones who love jewelry, cuff links, rings, earrings (as so many of them wear now) etc. Basically those who love bling and those who don't!
  • To use items from my stash that have been long forgotten about! A Must!
  • To go back to what we did before the giant flowers, the fancy and not so fancy brads, the rhinestones, the glitter glues, the bulky embellishments etc.
  • To get you all motivated enough to set time aside for making men's cards BEFORE you need them!
As Always, Thanks for Stopping By! Have a Great Day and Enjoy!

Some of the cards in this post have just flat stickers on them, some have a combination of flat stickers and 3-D  foam stickers that I added glitter to. Let me know what you think. Thanks Again.
Just wanted to try something different with the "bubbles" so I used grey toned pearls.

This one's kind of plain and kind of strange...it worked for me! Probably the true "Artsy" side of me. I can be, at times, a bit outside the box! LOL!

MEN, WE LOVE EM' DON'T WE???

Hi All,

Well, I'm winding down my "Men's Cards" posts! Maybe only a couple more after this one! Whoo-Hoo! I sincerely hope you've all been enjoying them and getting some inspiration and motivation for your own. Sit back and join me once again for my next "Men's Cards" post!

Below is a list of expectations I had in mind when I started this project, so please think about them as you view these cards.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you'll come back soon and often!

 Two different stickers, stamped sentiment
I will probably chalk tan over this lantern because of the white background. I'd like for it to blend a bit better with the papers. Stamped sentiment. Just didn't feel like doing it at the time.
Very dimensional stickers, stamped sentiment, matted decorative paper.
Large tag from "the book", stamped sentiment
If you'll notice, this is the same tag as above only much smaller! I was very mad at myself because, after gluing  everything down on this card, I realized I put the tag on it so it could be a horizontal card! I glued the sentiment in the wrong place. It was probably fatigue that setting in that caused that mistake. I just couldn't get the sentiment off without ruining the card so I left it alone. Boy was I mad at myself!
The tag is a Fresh Cuts cut-out and the other is a sticker. I stamped the sentiment on separate piece of paper, cut it to size and glued withing the sticker's framed area, added copper colored brads.
The square image is cut from a decorative paper that had numerous images similar to this one, punch-out tag with copper colored brad added, stamped sentiment.
Cream card with a rub-on sentiment, a cut-out tag matted with dark brown paper and real leather hang added,  Creative Memories card stock corner, metal clips, 3 torn matches and faux stitching added to edges.

GUYS, GUYS, GUYS, little guys, BIG Guys, Gotta love em' !

Welcome Back!
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY EVERYONE!
Going to keep this one short and sweet!
Still have quite a bit to go to finish off my men's cards posts so without further ado, lets get started!

Remember in an older post, I said I made about 400 plus men's cards! Now I'm getting down to the last few posts of them. If you've missed the previous posts, just scroll down to the bottom of the last post here and click on the words OLDER POSTS, VIEW, and continue to do that until you've seen them all or get tired, which ever comes first LOL! Enjoy!

On this card, I actually cut out a color copy of a shotgun that I had from years ago, stamped the small sentiment inside the picture frame 3-D sticker, grounded everything with a simple black line. Years ago, my friend and I got together and went crazy copying items from around our homes! If it would fit on the copier/ scanner, then it was not safe! This was when they first came out with the copier/ scanners for home use. Wow! we had a blast with it! That's what this item is left over from.

Just a crackle decorative paper, a stamped sentiment and stickers.

This card was made with two different decorative papers (scraps no doubt), a brown scrap and a large "postcard" sticker! I stamped the "postcard" with the birthday sentiment.
An old Paper Pizazz tag, gold brad in top of tag and a stamped sentiment on the tag using black ink.
Tree and Owl stickers, brown strip of paper and stamped sentiment.
This card is done with Fresh Cuts cut-outs, brown strip of paper, two different background papers and stamped sentiment.
This card has a Fresh Cuts cut out with a gem brad (I think). I've already packed this one away. A strip of brown paper with a faux button and thread and stamped sentiment.
These are all stickers except the stamped sentiment. The music pieces are 3-D acrylic stickers.
