MY NEW BLOGGER'S AWARD! FROM MY FRIEND HELEN OVER AT LET'S CREATE

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick post to let everyone know about my latest blogger's award! It was given to me by my friend Helen over at Let's Create! She has got to be one of the most talented people I know personally! She shares some of the most amazing stuff on her blog! If you haven't been over to check her out yet, please do it today! You will not be sorry! Follow her posts and you will be amazed like me and probably most everyone else that visits her!

But, Anywho, I'll type on forever, I just want to give a shout out to Helen at http://helenmade.blogspot.com/ You're amazing Helen and I thank you very much for my award!

Now, apparently I have to tell you all 7 things about myself upon accepting this award so here we go:

  1. I've never really liked my birth name which is Bethann Blair Mahoney
  2. I am a child advocate
  3. I am an animal advocate
  4. I have an illness there's no cure for that kicks my butt most days, but I refuse to show it and or give into it!
  5. I cherish my family and the few true friends that I have in my life
  6. If I couldn't sing, write or do some sort of craft...I just don't know what I'd do with myself!
  7. For those of you who don't already know, "I'M AN ARCHIE ANGEL"!!! Whoo-Hooo! That means I'm a true, blue, die-hard, never-ending fan of David James Archuleta!!!
Well, that's a quick peek inside my life and the mind of meeeeeee!  LOL!
Love you all for stopping in to see me and I should have another post up and running for you very soon! My men's posts are FINISHED!!!

Take care and have a wonderful week and weekend!

HERE'S THE LAST ONE!!!

Wow! We made it! Here's the last post of my Men's Cards! They are actually cards that I plan on donating to the Boy Scouts of America with one exception (you'll know it when you see it).  I've also got some Girl Scout cards I made the same way that I'll be donating. I'll load them before I do. I'm going to find a troop in our area, probably the troop number my oldest son belonged to. I'm hoping they'll use them.

I'm hoping also that you've had as much fun following my Men's Cards Posts as I had making them all! It's been a long journey full of surprises, mishaps and more! Thanks for coming along for the ride and please stay tuned for my next post... NOT FOR MEN!!! LOL!!! Any way, here they are.

Below is a list of expectations I had in mind when I started this project, so think about them as you view these cards.

A quick reminder of my goals for these cards:

  • Easily mailed / no extra postage - Postal Service gets enough as it is in my opinion!
  • Wide range of styles that reach out to the young men in our lives, the old or older, the tots, the ones who love jewelry, cuff links, rings, earrings (as so many of them wear now) etc. Basically those who love bling and those who don't!
  • To use items from my stash that have been long forgotten about! A Must!
  • To go back to what we did before the giant flowers, the fancy and not so fancy brads, the rhinestones, the glitter glues, the bulky embellishments etc.
  • To get you all motivated enough to set time aside for making men's cards BEFORE you need them!
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you'll come back soon and often!

PS. Many Thanks to all those who have been regulars of mine, leaving comments and just letting me know you care. You all know who you are (smile)!

My friend had this boyscout paper and didn't know what to do with it and was going to throw it out. I told her to give it to me and I cut it down for cards! I used scout images, some cut-outs and some stickers, on them and I decided to just donate them to a troop in my area! All of the cut out images have been popped up.
