A TECHNIQUE I LONGED FOR...

These cards represent a technique I longed to do. I've been wanting to try this technique for so very long, probably a couple years! I've finally tried it using my friends rubber stamps (she hasn't seen them yet). I hadn't put a sentiment on them yet because I'm not real sure what I want to do yet. I'm either going to pop up a sentiment or simply leave the entire card flat and stamp the sentiment right on the card. I actually made about 13 of these cards, but they are all so very similar I felt there was no need to load more than these two. They seem to represent the lot of them pretty well. I actually used five different Stampin' Up colors for these cards, my brayer, and the Stampin' Up set entitled Lovely as a Tree. I thought this technique was going to be very involved, but after doing it this one time I feel I could do it again and again! I really had fun doing it and I just love the results! Thanks for stopping by and to all of you (you know who you are) who get this and haven't come over to my blog yet to sign up... shame on you! (smile) What are you waiting for??? Thanks again and here's to all my fellow card makers, card lovers, scrapbookers and bloggers!!!

Please keep in mind this is my first attempt at this technique.
