LOVE A CHALLENGE!!!

Here I am once again challenging myself in such a way that some, perhaps even most might think I'm crazy. LOL! I love my little Sizzix Sidekick because it's very small and yet it's got enormous capability! These are just a few of my newest Sizzix dies that I've been playing around with lately. Anyone familiar with the die cut systems already know that if you want nice dimension or color variety in the die you must cut the same die out in 2 or more colors of cardstock. My clouds were each cut out in two different colors and then switched around to allow the cloud itself to stand out. The borders of the clouds are one color and the cloud centers are another color. The sun I left in all yellow simply because it is "THE SUN" (smile). The lion was cut out of three different colors, the yellow, the orange and the brown. The lambs were cut out of two colors each, the white with pink and/or blue. The pacifier and the diaper pin were done using two different colors, the white with pink. I hope you enjoy viewing my latest endeavor. You'll be seeing these on some cards later on. Thanks for stopping by. Leave me a comment and tell me what you think. Bethann aka PawwPadd

OH SUCH SWEET INNOCENCE!

Hi All,
PawwPadd's here and ready for duty! Well, actually I've been down for the count lately. I've had a lot going on in my life that has really taken a toll on me physically and mentally (time for that vacation). I'm sure all of you, if not most of you know what I'm talking about. WHEN IT RAINS IT POURS! I've recently gotten some new toys that I'll be sharing with you in my next post and we've recently had a new addition to the family! In honor of the new baby, I've been working on the announcements and I actually drew out my very own pattern / template for that and I'm pretty happy with the way they turned out. I could have done it a bit differently but... You know how it is once you've gone too deep into a project and then you realize some things you could have done differently, but it's really too late to change things or you've mentally decided you've got too much invested at that point. I've really struggled to get these finished in between all that's been going on, but at some point I felt like they were becoming more of a hinderance than a stress relieving joy to make. It was then that I pushed myself to get them done and out of the way.

Thanks for stopping by and please leave me a comment letting me know what you think of my latest project. If you're not a follower yet, PLEASE SIGN UP TO FOLLOW MY BLOG. I'd love to have you!
